AKA Electrical & Automation, delivered a fully integrated robotic solution combining advanced vision technology with ABB robotics for a streamlined, automated assembly process. Using a high-resolution vision system, the robot identifies and locates the required part through image capture and recognition.

 

Once identified, the robot picks up the piece and accurately places it into a clinch press, where it’s joined with a pre-positioned channel component. After the pressing operation, the robot completes the cycle by placing the assembled part onto a conveyor—ready for the next stage.
