White sandy beaches, crystal clear blue water.  This is the Cook Islands .  An island paradise endowed with tropical fruit and tall swaying coconut palms.  With flowers of every colour imaginable with their fragrance lingering in the air,  this is what inspired ákaea (which means breath in Cook Island Maori).

The children are our leaders of tomorrow.   It is ákaea's mission to care about our future so for each 'akaea product sold, a percentage will be used to purchase books and other resources for the schools of the Cook Islands.
